The losses of the banking system are attributed to the significant increase of transfers into reserves in Q2/2017. The reserves allocations amounted to UAH 12.5bn in Q2. To compared, domestic banks posted UAH 4.1bn in profits in Q1. The major part of the allocations into reserves made Privatbank and Prominvest, explains NBU.
