The project of modernization of trolleybus transportation system in Mykolaiv amounts to EUR 10mln plus EUR 2mln from the grant from Eastern partnership program with regards to energy efficiency and environment protection. The project encompasses purchases of 50 new trolleybuses, modernization of the related infrastructure and trolley bus depot, and extension of the trolleybus routes for additional 29km. In the frames of the project, the EBRD will provide technical support of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for the city and municipal state-owned enterprise MykolaivElektrotrans too.
