ActivePlatform attracts Zubr Capital as new investor

ActivePlatform to received funding from Zubr Capital, a large institutional investor in Republic of Belarus managing the private equity fund Zubr Capital Fund I

Total funding tranche from Zubr Capital isearmarked in the amount of up to US$10M to be invested in various recipients of Softline Group in Belarus. Recipients include ActivePlatform and ActiveCloud, two high-tech companies founded by Belarussian entrepreneur Oleg Tyagunov.

For ActivePlatform, this deal brings an institutional investor, in addition to its strategic partner Softline Group.
Zubr Capital - the leading Belarussian private equity operator led by Oleg Khusaenov, its founder and Managing Partner - has been focusing on a variety of industries including high-tech. Softline Group and its financial investor Da Vinci Capital approached Zubr Capital with the proposal to consider an investment in Softline Group. The Group owns a number of Belarussian businesses that also include ActivePlatform and ActiveCloud which in Zubr Capital’s view, have the highest growth potential.

A considerable portion of funding from Zubr Capital shall be directed to ActivePlatform. ActivePlatform supports cloud e-commerce operations for service providers, telco and governments in a number of countries and shall be developed further with investment of Zubr Capital.

Zubr Capital will also facilitate Softline Group’s ActivePlatform’s discussions with other institutional financial investors considering Softline’s Belarussian businesses for potential investment.
