The water supply of the plant is provided by 7 wells (5 x 10 cu.m./hour, 2 x 15 cu.m./hour) To create an initial supply of water, there is a water tower with a volume of 250 cubic meters, which ensures continuous water supply.
Heat supply of production facilities is provided by its own gas boiler house, powered through its own gas distribution station, which includes 8 water heating boilers AB2 (heat output 7 gigacalories/hour with an efficiency of 91%, equipped with modern Dutch burners), provide hot water into heating systems through a thermal buffer with a capacity of 2,100 cubic meters.
The power supply system of production facilities includes 3 electric substations of 630 kVA each, which ensures continuous power supply.
The sewerage pumping station, which is listed in the balance sheet of the enterprise, ensures the pumping of sewerage and household waste water into the city network.
History and current condition:
"Cherkasy agro-greenhouse plant" was engaged in the cultivation of vegetables in closed and open ground, using specialized drip irrigation equipment and hydroponic technology for growing vegetables in Antratsit greenhouses, the technical condition of which allowed growing vegetables on an area of 12 hectares up to 40 kg from 1 sq.m. per year.
In the period from 2012 to 2018, all the property and equipment of the plant was purchased. After a thorough analysis, there was made a conclusion of inexpedient idea to launch the plant using old greenhouses and equipment. In 2018, a decision was made to dismantle old greenhouse structures and equipment that cannot be repaired. The foundations of the 1st and 2nd greenhouse blocks, 6 hectares each, have been preserved. The boiler equipment, drip irrigation units and main utilities have also been preserved.
The company is currently considering the sale of corporate rights.
