Legal regulation and stimulation of the development of Industrial Parks are determined by the Laws of Ukraine: No. 406-VII dated 04.07.2013, No. 818-VIII dated November 24, 2015, No. 440-IX dated January 14, 2020, No. 4416-1 dated December 10, 2020, programs of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Local Self-Government Bodies.
The Register of industrial parks of Ukraine as of 22.07.2021 includes 51 industrial parks.
The purpose of the laws is to facilitate the attraction of direct investment in the creation of new industries through the mechanism of industrial parks to turn them into a driving force for economic and industrial development.
- Objects that may be located as part of an industrial park (in particular, offices of the management company, financial institutions, marketing and advertising objects; educational institutions, business campuses, laboratories for the development of innovative technologies; green areas, industrial and engineering buildings and structures, other objects not prohibited by applicable law;
- Compensation for management companies, initiators of creation - business entities and participants of industrial parks - 50% of the costs of connecting to power grids at the expense of funds provided for by the law on the State Budget of Ukraine;
- Compensation to management companies and participants of industrial parks of interest rates on loans for the development of industrial parks;
- Reimbursement of up to 70% of the total amount of interest payments on the loan.
- Partial compensation for investments of participants of industrial parks in the creation of production, carried out during the first 3 years of economic activity within the industrial park, at the expense of the State budget of Ukraine;
- Exemption from corporate income tax for 10 consecutive years of profits of an industrial park participant from carrying out economic activities;
- Exemption from VAT taxation of operations on import into the customs territory of Ukraine under the customs regime of import of new equipment, and more.
