Organic farm launched in 2013
Privately owned land for planting permanent crops - 12 hectares
- 0,25 ha of land for construction
- there is possibility for allotment of 2 more hectares
40 hectars land in lease in the neighboring village Lypovka (5 km to Korchivka) for period 8 - 15 years. Now it can be used for planting annual crops and two-year crops because there is no water and electricity supply to the area. But it is possible to set up electricity at the owned area of 0.25 ha which borders the rented area.
It is possible to expand the area to 100-150 ha via rent.
It is possible to purchase areas of 2-150 ha in the neighboring villages.
State authorities are supportive to development of agriculture in the specified district.
Out of 12 ha 3.8 ha have been planted:
-3,5 ha – strawberry (2017),
-0,35 ha (650 plants) – honeysuckle (woodbine) (2017),
-80 trees of cornelian cherry (2016)
-6.5 ha is available for planting (after uprooting 1 ha)
Land preparation works:
- Uprooting of the soil,
- Planted strawberry 3.5 ha,
- Started preparation of documents for purchasing +5 ha of land
- Lake excavated
After being purchased as virgin soil the land has been cleaned from trees and weeds, prepared for agriculture with organic methods: uprooting, grass mowing, weeding.
The farm has valid organic certificate after having successfully passed certification procedure by Organic Standard certification body.
Water and irrigation at the farm
-Watering + fertigation and filtration unit,
-2 lakes for watering have been excavated,
-Water tank capacity 75 cubic meters.
Lake # 1 60 x 60 m. - 2 m. depth,
Lake # 2 20 x 20 m.- 2,5 m. depth.
Well 86 m. (discharge 2 cubic m. / hour),
The farm has almost all needed infrastructure and equipment for future plating:
- Electricity supply,
- 100% of territory surrounded by fence,
- Video monitoring of all territory - through 9 cameras you can watch all the farm
online from accommodation space and in remote mode from any gadget
- Accommodation space for personnel;
- Storage room for equipment and inventory.
