Opportunity Overview
A new set of core processing equipment is offered for sale for the establishment of a vegetable oil extraction plant or the expansion of an existing oilseed pressing facility.
The line is designed to extract oil from sunflower press cake using a continuous chain extraction process. Its nominal processing capacity is 150 tonnes of press cake per day, corresponding to the processing of approximately 300 tonnes of sunflower seeds per day. The core equipment was manufactured by China Machinery Kangyuan Cereals and Oils Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd., China.
The set is based on equipment of a similar type currently operated at facilities in Ukraine, Asia and South America. Its design allows installation in a relatively compact production building, reducing capital construction costs. Part of the equipment is already stored in Ukraine and is available for inspection.
Core Equipment
The offer includes:
- continuous chain vegetable oil extraction line;
- main extractor with a miscella feeding and circulation system;
- sealed screw and drag conveyors;
- tanks, pumps and a hydrocyclone for the miscella system;
- solvent evaporation, distillation and stripping systems;
- condensers, heat exchangers, coolers and vacuum equipment;
- solvent recovery and recirculation system;
- equipment for transporting and preparing finished meal;
- process piping, valves and materials required for equipment installation inside the production building;
- a set of spare parts and specialised tools.
Desolventiser-Toaster-Dryer-Cooler
The equipment set includes a DTDC210×8 unit with a 55 kW main drive. The equipment body is manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel, while the external supporting structure is made of carbon steel.
The DTDC performs the following functions:
- removal of residual solvent from the meal;
- heat treatment and toasting;
- drying of the finished meal;
- cooling to a temperature suitable for storage;
- regulation of product levels and flow between the processing sections.
Centrifugal Separator
The set also includes a DHZ470 self-cleaning disc-stack centrifugal separator with a processing capacity of 100–150 tonnes of oil per day.
The manufacturer is Jiangsu Juneng Machinery Co., Ltd. The separator is supplied with spare parts and specialised tools for installation, dismantling and maintenance.
Feedstock Parameters
Recommended parameters for sunflower press cake entering the extraction process:
- moisture content — 6–7%;
- oil content — 15–22%;
- particle thickness — up to 1.0–1.5 cm;
- fines content — no more than 5%;
- feedstock temperature — 55–60 °C.
An extraction solvent is used in the production process. The required saturated steam pressure is at least 0.8 MPa. The cooling water temperature should not exceed 30 °C at the inlet and 40 °C at the outlet.
Finished Product Parameters
Sunflower Meal
- adjustable moisture content;
- residual oil content — no more than 1% on a dry-matter basis;
- residual solvent content — no more than 500 ppm;
- outlet temperature — up to 55 °C or no more than 20 °C above the ambient temperature.
Crude Sunflower Oil
- moisture and volatile matter — no more than 0.2%;
- insoluble impurities — no more than 0.2%;
- residual solvent content — no more than 100 ppm.

The electricity consumption and installed capacity figures exclude external and standby equipment.

Scope-of-Supply Exclusions
The price does not include certain elements of external infrastructure, including inlet and outlet pipe racks, general working platforms, or the installation of external water and electrical networks. In accordance with the specification, certain auxiliary equipment must be manufactured or purchased locally by the buyer.
