Agri Solutions Ukraine to Invest $12M in Sunflower Processing Plant in Central Ukraine

Agri Solutions Ukraine has announced a $12 million investment to construct a new sunflower seed processing facility in Novoukrainka, Kirovohrad region

According to Interfax-Ukraine, the new facility will have an annual processing capacity of up to 120,000 tonnes of sunflower seeds. The plant will produce crude sunflower oil, press cake, and meal, and will be equipped with a 10,000-tonne storage facility and an in-house quality control laboratory.

The project is being developed with the support of international investors — a Czech private equity fund (via Agri CEE Group), an Estonian agri-venture partner, and Ukrainian co-founders holding a minority stake.

The plant is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2026. It is expected to create more than 70 jobs and stimulate the economic development of the Novoukrainka community. The facility’s output will be targeted at both domestic buyers and export markets across the EU, the Middle East, and North Africa.

“This is more than just an investment — it’s a strong signal of international trust in the agricultural potential of our region,” stated a representative of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration.
