Agropromservis and Bühler Ukraine to Build Specialized Feed Mill Near Ternopil

Agropromservis and Bühler Ukraine have signed a contract to construct a 1,000-ton-per-day feed mill tailored for pig farming

A state-of-the-art feed mill with a capacity of 50 tons per hour is set to be built in Ukraine’s Ternopil region. The agreement was signed by Agropromservis, a major Ukrainian agribusiness corporation, and the Ukrainian subsidiary of Swiss engineering company Bühler.

The plant is expected to become one of the most advanced feed production facilities in the country and will focus on meeting the needs of Ukraine’s pig farming sector. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year.

According to Ivan Karachka, Director of Agropromservis, the company has signed a contract with Bühler for engineering services and equipment supply. Project design and tender documentation for construction works are currently underway, and the land plot for the facility has already been secured.

The plant will have a total production capacity of up to 1,000 tons of compound feed per day, consisting of two separate lines, each with a capacity of 500 tons.

The facility will be located within the Western Ukrainian Industrial Hub, an industrial park in the village of Ostriv near Ternopil.

Bühler is known globally for its equipment for grain processing, food production, and high-pressure die casting in aluminum. Founded in 1999 in the Ternopil region, Agropromservis is engaged in crop production, livestock and poultry farming, seed production, and provides grain harvesting and drying services. It is among the largest pig farming businesses in Ukraine.
