Alexander Yaroslavsky agreed with the NBU on the purchase of 10% of Oranta insurance company

The National Bank of Ukraine gave consent to Yaroslavsky's firm for direct ownership of 10.0073% of the authorized capital of the Ukrainian insurance company

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in May 21 agreed to the Ukrainian businessman Alexander Yaroslavsky, namely his company NS-Finance LLC, to acquire a significant stake in the National Insurance Company Oranta (Kyiv) through indirect ownership of 10.0073% of the authorized capital.

According to the data of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSCSSM), in the fourth quarter of 2020, the shareholders of Oranta were: Visiline Limited - 9.4238%, Cezavelios Holdings LTD - 5.6232%, Chilwell Limited - 9.9908% ( all - Cyprus), BTA Bank Kazakhstan JSC - 14.8883% and 20.2840%, NS-Finance LLC - 9.8117%, Staf Regional Security Agency LLC - 7.4953%, LLC "Private Investment Company" - 7.5178% (all - Ukraine), Maria Loseva - 7.1826%.

"Oranta" is the legal successor of "Ukrgosstrakh", founded in November 25, 1921. In 1993, "Ukrgosstrakh" was reorganized. Its founder on the part of the state was the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU).

In 2007, the SPFU sold the last state-owned shares to the investor.

The insurance company conducts its activities on the basis of 33 licenses: 15 compulsory and 18 voluntary types of insurance.
