This information was reported by the first deputy chairman of the NBU Ekaterina Rozhkova. Mr. Yaroslavsky sent a letter of intent in early December 2019. But the NBU has not yet received documents for the approval of a substantial participation in the bank.
Ekaterina Rozhkova also noted that at the moment it is difficult to evaluate the deal, because the regulator does not know the key conditions, including the size of the acquired package. Much will also depend on Mr. Yaroslavsky’s plans for the development of the bank. The National Bank will discuss these and other things with Yaroslavsky after receiving the full package.
