Currently, the new plant of the American Corporation Jabil Circuit, located near Uzhgorod, with the total area of over 20 thousand square meters is built and internal works are being carried out. The building is adjacent to the first plant of the Corporation in Ukraine, which is already working and is located in the village of Rozovka.
The operating enterprise produces electronics for the brands Nespresso, Ceragon, Sagemcom, SIAE Microelettronica, DUCATI Energia, SIT and TeleTec. It now employs 2.3 thousand people. The opening of the new plant will create about 1.5 thousand new jobs.
The Ukrainian plant Jabil Circuit produced more than 110 million units of electronics, including mobile phones and assemblies for them. In 2015, Dune HD media player production line was launched at this plant.
