In 2024, Aurora acquired the damaged West Gate logistics center from Dragon Capital. “This is the same logistics hub bombed by Russian forces in 2022, previously home to the GoodWine warehouse,” said company representative Panasenko.
Aurora is investing UAH 1.3 billion (approx. $33 million) in the first phase of the reconstruction in 2025. The total redevelopment budget for the two-phase project is estimated at $63 million. The first phase—a distribution facility spanning over 7,000 sq. m—was commissioned in February 2025.
The full relaunch of the logistics complex in Stoyanka is scheduled for January 2026. “We plan to create 1,000 new jobs at this site,” Panasenko added.
Aurora’s total investment plan in Ukraine for 2025 amounts to UAH 3.2 billion (including VAT).
Aurora is the largest and fastest-growing Ukrainian retail chain operating in the one-dollar store format. In 2025, the company plans to open 340 to 350 new retail locations across the country.
