Last year, the Austrian investors channeled USD 1.3bn in Ukraine. It accounted to 3.4% of the total FDI investment coming to Ukraine in 2017. Recently, the PM Volodymyr Groysman met with the Austrian president Alexander Van der Bellen.
Ukraine’s PM emphasized the no return European choice of Ukraine in its foreign policy agenda. That is why Ukraine anticipates activation of the dialogue in the many affairs with the EU considering the Austrian presidency which is to start up in H2/2018.
Worth noting that prior to the visit, mr. Alexander Van der Bellen spoke about interests from Austrian investors and the corruption issues that impede them from coming in Ukraine.
