Good Masters cooperative society will conduct a ceremonial opening in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine on December 7. The investment into cheese making equipment into the society’s business project was provided by an Austrian party.
The new cooperative will consist of 32 farms. The main goal of the cooperative is to purchase milk from local farms and further processing of it. After that the products will be distributed in educational institutions of the region.
The project of the Austrian agency envisages only the purchase of equipment, according to Grigory Vanzuryak, the head of the Glybok community responsible for the project. The remaining costs including repair works and reconstruction will be taken by the community on its own.
According to preliminary calculations, the community plans to invest UAH 800 000 (USD 30 000) for the preliminary works. These funds must suffice to start the business of the community. At the same time almost the same amount was invested in the purchase of the equipment amounting to EUR 20 000.
