Concepter starts accelerator program worth USD 100 000

The founder of iBlazr flash light for smartphones will support startups that have potential to be successful at the world crowdfunding platforms

Concepter launched the accelerating program Product Idea Accelerator. The program is aiming at support of the promising projects planning to raise funds at the world crowdfunding platforms including Kickstarter.

In the first place, the accelerator is interested in projects in the field of electronics and tech-wear (backpacks, jackets, etc.). Other R&D products that may rouse interest in the Kickstarter audience can also become a part of the accelerating program.

Participants have to submit a working prototype of their products upon consideration. The filing of the applications for participation in the accelerator will end on January 15, 2018.

The program is divided into three stages.

At the first stage, a marketing research will be conducted to help exploring the viability of an idea.

On the second stage, the organizers will help a startup to create MVP - minimum viable product. Mentoring from experts is also provided during the second phase.

The third step is to directly bring the product to Kickstarter and bring further help, if the claimed amounts are collected.

The total amount of funds allocated to the program is USD 100 000. The organizers expect to bring at least 4 projects to Kickstarter, which presumably will collect USD 1mln.

Biosphere corporation will provide financial support of Product Idea Accelerator. Andrei Zdesenko, the founder of Biosphere, will become one of the mentors of the program.

The accelerator imposes conditions of taking 10% of some collected amount on Kickstarter and obtaining 10% of the company's shares.
