Denmark developed a program to support economy, democracy and human rights in Ukraine and Georgia, told Anders Samuelson Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The foreign diplomat held a press conference with the Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin.
Danish government expects Ukraine to establish an anti-corruption court prior to a Ukraine Reform Conference to be held in Copenhagen scheduled on June 27 this year.
Anders Samuelson also urged Ukraine to continue with economic reforms especially in the part of privatization to tackle the corruption issues related to the operations of the state owned enterprises. Fighting corruption can bring more efficient framework to attracting foreign investments in Ukraine, believes Anders Samuelson.
Ukraine has already implemented several projects in fighting corruption, decentralization and energy efficiency with the help of the government of Denmark, told Pavlo Klimkin Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
