T.B Fruit, managing company of fruit juices of TM Galicia, will invest EUR 3-5mln in setting mandarin processing facilities in Georgia, told Taras Borschevskiy. The plant will be put into operations in Georgia this year.
The mandarin peel contains 20% of pectin, that’s why the peel will be processed in Georgia and sent to Ukraine, the company explains. As of present, 35-40% of all the business operations of T.B Fruit are located in Ukraine. Notably, the holding has already set up pectin production at its facilities at Yablochniy Dar LLC in Ukraine.
In 2017, the company increased production of juices made of concentrate by 20% y/y to 100 thousand tons.
T.B Fruit was formed after merger of the production facilities of Yablochniy Dar belonging to businessman Taras Borschevskiy and Polish fruit processing plants of T.B.Fruit Dwikozy and T.B.Fruit Annopol. The merger also included Tank Trans Ukraine Ltd and Tank Trans Polska and T.B Sad.
T.B Fruit owns 8 juice production plants for cold-press juices, production of fruit puree, as well as production of frozen fruits and vegetables in Ukraine, Moldova, and Poland.
TM Galicia is the company’s brand for natural juices of cold-press juices.
