Dragon Capital completed the acquisition of Radio Era expending its media portfolio. Dragon Capital owns weekly newsmagaizine Novoye Vremya and its web portal.
Radio-Era FM will be headed by Valerii Kalnysh who previously managed Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper and radio Vesti, and he also used to champion RBC-Ukraine in the web.
The editor-in-chief of Novoye Vremya Vitaly Sych will continue to oversee all media portfolio of Dragon Capital.
The parties do not disclose the value of the deal.
It is the oldest radio station in the country with a rich history after all, told CEO of Dragon Capital Tomas Fiala. The further investment will not bring some revolutionary changes for the radio station. At this, the new owners will invest in the technical equipment for Radio Era FM.
