The state property fund held an auction on March 7 for the privatization of the entire property complex of the state-owned enterprise "Ukroboronresources". The winner was Epicenter K LLC, which offered almost UAH 211 million for it. In addition to him, 21 more applicants took part in the competition. The main rival of Epicenter was LLC Construction Machinery (the official dealer of JCB equipment in Ukraine).
As explained in the FSI, "Ukroboronresources" is engaged in complex processing and utilization of the property of the concern "Ukroboronprom". The main activity of the enterprise is wholesale trade in scrap metal.
Last year, the company was unprofitable and accumulated more than UAH 3 million. debts
The Fund also emphasized that the State Enterprise "UUkroboronresources" does not affect Ukraine's defense capability and cannot be classified as a defense enterprise.
State enterprise "Ukroboronresources" owns two plots of land in Kyiv (Saperno-Slobodskoy proezd, 3) and Stryu (Skolevskaya, 14) with a total area of 18.28 hectares.
