EU to allocate EUR 50mln to energy efficiency fund in Ukraine

It will be a non-refundable facility

Ukraine and the EU are coming to the final phase in conclusion of the agreement for EUR 50mln non-refundable facility on energy efficiency.

The parties agreed to mutually finance the energy efficiency fund aimed at financing the energy saving projects in Ukraine in 2018.

Notably, the agreement assumes additional EUR 50mln to addressing energy security issues in 2019.

The EU will also provide a technical aid to finance launching of the energy efficiency fund in Ukraine.
