Footwear retailer Intertop to invest UAH 100mln (USD 4mln) in restyling

The retailer will restyle at least 10 concept stores and open some brand new ones

Domestic footwear retailer Intertop Ukraine will invest UAH 100mln (USD 4mln) in restyling its concept stores. The company plans to renovate not less than 10 stores. In H1/2018, Intertop will restyle 4 stores, among which are shops in Shopping and Entertainment Centers (SEC) of Karavan in Kharkiv, two stores in SEC Riviera in Odessa, and one more in SEC Pyramida in Kyiv.

At this, Intertop mulls opening the brand new stores too, told Sergey Badritdinov the CEO of Intertop Ukraine. The company also plans to launch new brands in Ukrainian market. In particular, the company will study an opportunity to launching Steve Madden chain of stores too. The sales of the TM will work out the plans, explained the CEO of Intertop Ukraine.

The new concept stores will have info kiosks for making orders online. At this, the company decided to enlarge sports shoes area. Ukrainian started to buy more sports shoes following the trend of Western Europe spending habits, explained Valeria Tolochyna the head of marketing of Intertop Ukraine.

To note, Intertop Ukraine has 109 footwear retail stores of 25 thousand square meters area in total over Ukraine.
