German investor Hopsteiner Ukraine to expand land bank for hop planting

The land plots will add up additional 32ha in Zhytomyr region

Hopsteiner Ukraine plans to invest into expansion of land plots in Zhytomyr region of Ukraine. The German producer of hop and hop products decided to increase its land plots by additional 32ha.

The investor mulls broadening its output in the Chudniv district where the company produces hop pallets.  As of present, Hopsteiner manages 81ha of hop yards in Karpivtsi. This year, the company started registering some 5 new sorts of hop plants.

Hopsteiner Ukraine was established by Simon H. Steiner and a Ukrainian company of Inform-Agro-Service. Hopsteiner grows and processes 80% of hop in Ukraine. The total area of the company land plots amount to 200ha and the yearly production stands at 350 tons of hop in Ukraine. The company's granule production is located in Karpivtsi of the Chudniv district of Zhytomyr region in the Central Ukraine.
