According to Elena Kosharna the CEO of the company, Horizon Capital is going to invest about $50 mln in Ukrainian economy this year. She also underlined that the total volume of Horizon Capital investments in Ukrainian enterprises was equal to $350 mln.
Particular companies or projects in which investments are going to be channeled are still undisclosed.
The most promising industries in Ukraine for purposes of investment according to CEO are IT-technologies, food industry and other industry sectors oriented on export.
Currently 3 funds are under the authority of Horizon Capital: Emerging Europe Growth Fund (EEGF), EEGF II и Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF). In total Horizon Capital has at its disposal a loan capital in an amount of $600 mln.
Private Equity funds, which are under the authority of Horizon Capital, invest mainly in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.
