Press office of Мinistry of Infrastructure reports that The Soufflet Group is interested to invest in “Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk” development, and with signing the memorandum the intention of investor to implement the project over a period of a few years will be verified. Details are not confirmed.
Earlier Andriy Pyvovarsky the Minister of Infrastructure announced that several investors were interested in Ukrainian ports. Particularly Group Soufflet was going to invest from $100 mln to $200 mln in port of Illichivsk. Apart from this company, 4 more potential investors are observing the port operations and also collaboration options.
Soufflet Group is French multibusiness company, the world’s biggest mast manufacturer.
Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk, on the other hand, is one of the biggest ports on the Black sea. The enterprise has dedicated workstations and complexes, which allow reloading a great variety of bulk. 29 terminals allow port to receive vessels for a weight of 100 thous t.
