International trader AOT Energy enters Ukraine’s market

AOT Energy Ukraine was registered in July 14 with a charter capital of UAH 1.5mln, according to the register of the Ministry of Justice in Ukraine. The whole stake of share capital belongs to the final shareholder AOT Gas Holding AG. The company will be engaged in a wholesale of oil and gas products and facilitate exploitation of oil and gas fields in Ukraine. Up to this time, AOT Energy has been selling natural gas to Ukraine via its subsidiary in Poland to some 10 companies in Ukraine including oil and gas major Naftogaz of Ukraine. AOT Energy operates in 8 countries worldwide. The company’s turnover stood at USD 11.5bn in 2016. To note, other well-known international traders of oil and gas products started their offices in Ukraine earlier too. Those are Trafigura, MET Holding, and DufEnergy.
