Israeli owner of the Glusco gas station chain sold it to a Greek businessman

Dimitrios Anifantakis became the new owner of 100 petrol stations and 4 oil depots in Ukraine

The agreement was signed at the end of October and its amount has not been disclosed.

According to the press service of Glusco Energy, the new owner of the Glusco gas station network is a Greek citizen that has been working in the global energy trade for over 30 years. He has held senior management positions in companies such as: Litasco, BP plc, Cargill SA, Motor Oil Hellas and others. Mr. Anifantakis is now a member of the board of directors of Motor Oil Hellas, the largest Greek oil refining group, which owns one of the most modern refineries in the world and about 1 500 filling stations in Greece and abroad. In addition, Dimitrios manages his own broad portfolio of companies in the energy and real estate business both in Greece and abroad.

The Glusco network was created on the basis of the former Rosneft filling stations operating under the Formula, TNK, Zolotoy Gepard, Smile brands. In 2016, Rosneft decided to sell them to the Swiss Proton Energy group of businessman Nisan Moiseev.
