The JSC “Plant Radiorele” in Kharkiv, located on Aerospace Avenue, is transitioning into private ownership. The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has found a buyer for the enterprise, which specializes in the production of low-current, miniature, and electromagnetic relays used in various electronic and industrial systems.
According to the Prozorro.Sale platform, the auction for the sale of the enterprise took place on November 5. Only one participant registered — LLC SKTB Corporation Ukrinmash, owned by Vitalii Nemilostivyi, a former Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries.
The company offered UAH 118 million for 100% of the shares of JSC “Plant Radiorele”, slightly exceeding the starting price of UAH 117.2 million. As a result, the enterprise was effectively purchased at the minimum possible price.
In recent years, Plant Radiorele has faced significant financial difficulties. In 2024, it recorded a loss of UAH 10.3 million on revenues of only UAH 6.3 million. The company’s main assets include five real estate properties with a total area exceeding 49,000 m², and a 4-hectare land plot under permanent use. As of June 30, 2025, the enterprise employed only 57 people, reflecting a substantial reduction in operations.
Under the privatization terms, the new owner must repay outstanding wage and tax liabilities within six months of concluding the sale agreement and refrain from initiating employee dismissals during this period.
The privatization of Plant Radiorele continues the SPFU’s efforts to sell inefficient state-owned assets. Earlier, in October, the Fund managed — on its 24th attempt — to find a buyer for the Rivne Radio Plant, underscoring the challenges of privatizing defense and electronics enterprises in Ukraine.
