Latvian Villa Florac acquires 10% stake in Pivdennyi Bank

Pivdennyi Bank is registered in Odessa of Southern Ukraine

Latvian Villa Florac purchased 9.982% shares of Pivdennyi Bank from East Capital Financials Fund AB, according to National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine (SSMCS). The deal took place at the secondary market resulting full exit of East Capital Financials Fund AB.

Pivdennyi Bank started operations in 1993. According to NBU, mr. Yuriy Rodin possesses 18,7062% stake directly and 19,4969% ─ indirectly in the bank, while his daughter Alla Vanetsians holds 11,2371% and 13,8859% stakes respectively in the like manner, as of January 1, 2017.

The other large shareholder is mr. Mark Becker holding directly 19,1539% shares and 23,5680% cumulatively, so to say.

Pivdennyi Bank was ranked 14th among 88 banks in terms of assets amounting to UAH 21.941bn (USD 813mln), as of October 1, 2017.
