Milk Alliance to invest UAH 90mln into development next year

The holding of the group of companies of Milk Alliance will maintain the level of milk processing volumes at 360 000 tons in 2017. Recently, the production and consumption volumes of milk have been reducing in Ukraine due economic troubles in the country, told chairman of supervisory board of the company Sergey Vovchenko. In 2016, the company absorbed UAH 82mln of investments that were channeled into improvement of the quality of production and expanding of the assortment items. In 2017, the investments will be made into baby food segment. It concerns the brand of Yahotynske for kids and new equipment to be purchased for the milk production process. Milk Alliance plans to produce new cheese products too. As of present, Milk Alliance incorporates Pyriatyn, Bashtan, Gorodenka, Trostianets, and Novoarkhangelsk cheese plants, Zolotonosha butter-making plant, and distribution companies of Etalonmolproduct and trading house Etalon. The holding sells its products under the following brands of Pyriatyn’, Slavia, Yahotynske, Yahotynske for kids, Zdorovo!, and Zlato Kraj.
