The new industrial park will be located in the Novoushytska settlement community of the Kamianets-Podilskyi district and will operate for 30 years. It has been included in Ukraine’s official register of industrial parks, according to a statement from the Cabinet of Ministers. The project is expected to create around 550 new jobs, primarily in the processing industry.
The park will host enterprises focused on agricultural processing and food production, warehouse facilities, manufacturers of machinery and equipment for agriculture and forestry, as well as other types of fruit and vegetable processing and preservation. In addition, the site will accommodate research and technical units and laboratories, including independent certification of raw materials and finished products.
The project aims to attract financing from the managing company, park participants, the State Regional Development Fund, investors, the EBRD, international technical assistance, and other sources. Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Vitalii Kindrativ, noted that adding “Nova Synerdgy” to the register creates a new production platform in the country’s west and will become a strong magnet for investment in agricultural processing and equipment manufacturing.
A total of 110 industrial parks are currently listed in Ukraine’s national register. Earlier, on 13 November, the government registered the 108th and 109th parks — “Korosten-Podilskyi” in the city of Korosten and “Nexus Odesa” in the Nerubaiska territorial community of the Odesa district. The Ministry of Economy expects industrial parks to become a driver of GDP growth, as global experience shows that one hectare of an industrial park can generate between $7 million and $10 million in annual revenue.
