PrivatBank Puts One of Dnipro’s Largest Sports Facilities, Dnipro-Arena, Up for Sale

PrivatBank plans to sell Dnipro’s landmark stadium “Dnipro-Arena” and a football training base through the Prozorro auction platform

The sale of one of the city’s main sports complexes is part of the bank’s strategy to reduce real estate assets that came under its ownership following nationalization as collateral for loans.

Dnipro-Arena Stadium (formerly “Metalurh”), with a capacity of 31,003 spectators, was reconstructed and reopened in 2008. The arena features a 105×68 m football pitch with heating and automatic irrigation systems, gyms and locker rooms, facilities for media and referees, a VIP lounge with 296 seats, a restaurant for 550 guests, as well as parking areas for athletes, staff, and visitors.

The football training base, located in the forest-park area of the Prydniprovsk residential district, includes three artificial and four grass pitches, an indoor arena with seating for 506, a cottage town for player accommodation, and two office-residential buildings equipped with a medical rehabilitation center, conference hall, swimming pool, gym, sauna, and showers. The base was originally built in 1971 and underwent reconstruction in 2010.

The sale of the facilities will take place via an open and transparent auction procedure, allowing all interested parties to participate. The stadium is located at 7 Khersonska Street, Dnipro, while the training base is situated at 12 and 14 Mykhaila Didevycha Lane, Dnipro.
