On July 13th the UA50 project, which was founded by successful Ukrainians in Silicon Valley, officially started to receive the applications from Ukrainian start-ups, which are struggling to enter the US market. Among the experts of the project are such famous IT-entrepreneurs and investors like Evelin Buchatskiy, Oleg Roginskiy, Andrey Akselrod, Evgeniy Sysoyev, Evgeniy Vyborov, Viktoriya Tigipko, Yaroslava Ajnuk, Steven Kuyan, Vlad Voskresenskiy, Nik Belgorodskiy and others. All of them are ready to help start-ups with their connections and experience for free.
Start of the project was announced just a month ago, and now it is formed the pool of more than 50 experts and businessmen, who are ready to help Ukrainian teams with their connections, advice and mentoring. Number of residents is yet unlimited. Application submitting is available on projects` site on a round-the-clock basis.
Start-ups are going to be divided in two main groups: those, who are looking for the entry into the international market, and those, who are in search for investor on pre-seed stage. There are unique criteria of selection in each group. Also all UA50 participants will hold the one-time consultations about entry the US market for companies from aforenamed categories.
Those companies, which want to enter the global market, by the time of submission the application to UA50 should have the official registration and formed team, an also the first lot of the prodact and effective business model, which is practically confirmed. Selected start-ups will receive the mentor, who will help them in product promotion on the US market, and also in process of search for needed contacts and investors.
For start-ups, which are on pre-seed sage and want to enter the accelerator program, it is necessary to have the English-speaking team, product prototype and elaborate business plan. UA50 mentor will help the start-up team in choosing the accelerator and preparation of application.
