Qatari fund X2 Ventures has invested in Ukrainian startup Deus Robots, founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs and focused on robotic automation solutions for warehouses, logistics and retail. The deal was announced during Web Summit Qatar 2026, although the parties did not disclose the amount of the investment.
According to Crunchbase, as of February 2026, Deus Robots had raised USD 4.6 million. Earlier, in 2024, following a USD 3 million round led by u.ventures, the company’s valuation reached USD 20 million. The current investment is part of a larger round that has not yet been closed.
X2 Ventures is headed by Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri, founder of Snoonu Group and CEO of international markets at Jahez. The startup first connected with the fund in late 2024 at Web Summit in Qatar as part of the Ukrainian delegation, while the Qatar-Ukraine Business Forum further supported the development of the partnership.
According to Deus Robots CEO Pavlo Pikulin, around 90% of the company’s investors are foreign funds. Even funds with Ukrainian roots are more often registered abroad, which is linked to legal framework considerations, although initiatives such as Diia.City are gradually improving the situation.
The company is showing rapid growth, with revenue increasing roughly threefold every year. In the longer term, Deus Robots is targeting a valuation in line with the US Series A market, where the median currently stands at about USD 80 million, although the company says its primary goal is not capitalization, but growth in sales and customer value.
The startup is directing the raised funds toward scaling, sales development and expansion into new markets. Its solutions are already being used in the United States, the United Kingdom and Ukraine, while negotiations are underway regarding entry into the EU, Canada, Brazil and the Middle East.
On March 16, 2026, the company also received the “Startup of the Year” award at the IDF Awards.
Deus Robots develops end-to-end business robotics solutions by combining different types of robots, from logistics robots to humanoids, with its own software and artificial intelligence technologies. Its key products include the Deus RMS system, which enables robots from different manufacturers to be integrated into a single network, as well as Deus AI Vision, an AI-agent-based solution for video stream analysis and prevention of operational issues.
The company has been active in the market since 2017 as a laboratory, has operated as a business in Ukraine since 2019, and has been developing its global direction from the United States since 2022. Among the startup’s key advantages are deep expertise in robotics hardware and the development of an AI agent capable of controlling robots in the physical world — a capability the company says competitors do not currently offer.
