Slovak investor to invest EUR 2mln in production of pepitas

Domestic Dolyna-Agro will absorb the investment for pumpkin seeds production

Dolyna-agro attracted EUR 2mln of investments into its core business of pumpkin seeds production. The investor has already channeled EUR 1mln and plans to remit some more EUR 1mln during next two years. The project foresees planting of pumpkins over 300ha of land with further extention plans of up to 1 000ha. Dolyna-agro uses mainly specialized equipment from domestic producers. In particular, this will be equipment of Kakhovka experimental mechanical plant, told Igor Gerba, the CEO of the agricultural enterprise. The facility has become available with a help of Investment Service Ukraine company that specializes in attracting and allocating of investments. Dolyna-agro is registered in Dnipropetrovsk and the major shareholders are Slovak Proxima and private person Irina Gunaza, according to the Unified Register of the Legal Entities of Ukraine.
