SoftServe Co-Owner and Morshynska Founder Building 2,000-Head Dairy Farm Near Morshyn

SoftServe co-owner Taras Kytsmey and Morshynska founder Mykola Kmit have launched the construction of a large-scale dairy farm

Taras Kytsmey, co-owner of IT company SoftServe, shared that entrepreneur Mykola Kmit approached him with a proposal to build a dairy facility for 2,000 cows. The project is already under construction, with the first phase scheduled to launch in August, including the purchase of cattle.

Kytsmey initially hesitated about entering the dairy sector but later concluded, “If there is a market and the market lacks milk, then it’s a market worth entering.”

Mykola Kmit currently owns the “Mukko” brand, under which he produces and sells goat cheese.

It is reported that Kmit’s company, Mukko Milk, recently began construction of the dairy farm on an 18-hectare site near the village of Dolishnie, in the Morshyn community of Lviv region.

According to public records, the future farm will cover more than 69,000 square meters and will include several cattle barns, a veterinary station, a feed warehouse, and additional infrastructure.
