The PM Volodymyr Groysman has confirmed the launching of lately announced idea of forming the office to facilitate investments coming to Ukraine. The new office will work closely with the government and parliament to ensure positive investor climate and help. In end-August National Investment Council started its work to forming the office to serve a single window concept for foreign investors.
Boris Lozhkin, the head of the National Investment Council believes that in a successful case scenario Ukraine will attract USD 3-5bn in 2017, if the office starts operating. To note, FDI investments to Ukraine increased by 5.4% ytd to USD 44.79bn, as of July 2016.
