State owned Berdyansk seaport to invest USD 10mln

State owned Berdyansk Commercial Seaport plans to erect a new terminal worth USD 10mln by own means

The seaport has ready money in its account and is going to invest the funds for development of a new grain terminal, explained the CEO of Berdyansk Commercial Seaport Nikolay Ilyin. The company has prepared its financial plan for the next year, and it has yet to be endorsed by the Ministry of Transportation and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

For the first time, the project of the new terminal was presented back in October 2015. The projected capacity of the complex is at 1mln tons of grains and other food related cargoes per year. The transshipment will be carried from the railways cars, as well as automobile freight forwarders. The project will be completed by 2018.
