Superhuman, a productivity technology platform known as Grammarly until October 2025, has announced the acquisition of Portuguese startup Rows.com, which specializes in integrating spreadsheets with business services, enabling no-code workflow automation, and embedding artificial intelligence directly into the data workspace interface.

The deal with Rows was announced in a Superhuman press release and confirmed by Rows’ co-founders in LinkedIn posts, noting that the acquisition will significantly expand AI-driven analytics capabilities within the company’s products.

According to Superhuman, the Rows team will join the company following the completion of the transaction, and the startup’s technologies will be primarily integrated into Coda — a universal workspace for documents, spreadsheets, and business logic. This is expected to enhance the platform’s analytical capabilities and make working with “live” data even more efficient.

In their official blog, Rows’ co-founders reported that since its launch in 2017, more than 2.2 million users have adopted the product, executing 17 billion spreadsheet formulas, importing data more than 8.3 billion times, and making over 800,000 queries to the built-in AI analyst.

Superhuman emphasizes that the growing role of data in business decision-making requires a unified interface for collaboration, analytics, and automation. The integration of Rows will allow the company to strengthen its position in the AI productivity tools segment, where it already combines Mail, Coda, Grammarly, and the Superhuman Go agent into a single ecosystem.

The transaction also expands Superhuman’s geographic footprint in Europe: announcements reference an office in Porto, which will become a new technical hub alongside Berlin, Warsaw, and Kyiv.

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Rows.com will be gradually phased out over three months following the transition, with users receiving detailed instructions on next steps.

Superhuman (formerly Grammarly) is actively advancing its strategy to build an AI-powered productivity platform. In 2024–2025, the company acquired Coda and the email client Superhuman Mail, raised $1 billion in investment, and rebranded as Superhuman, focusing on artificial intelligence and integrated user workflows.
