Suziria Group to Launch Wet Pet Food Factory in Kalush by the End of the Year

By the end of 2025, Suziria Group plans to commission a wet pet food manufacturing facility currently under construction in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region

According to Suziria Group’s press office, the company already operates production facilities in Kalush, where it manufactures grain mixes and treats for rodents, birds, cats, and dogs.

The new factory will double the company’s production footprint in the region. Once operational, the facility will be capable of producing up to 10,000 tonnes of wet pet food annually and is expected to create over 130 new jobs.

The project is primarily focused on meeting the production needs of the Half&Half brand, which Suziria launched in 2024. Initially, Half&Half products (wet and dry pet food) were manufactured under contract in Poland, Belgium, Spain, the Czech Republic, Estonia, and Thailand, while pet treats were produced domestically in Ukraine.

The company reports that exterior construction has been completed, engineering networks have been installed, a finished goods warehouse has been equipped, and interior spaces have been zoned. In 2025, the installation of core processing equipment — including a steam generator, autoclaves, and freezing chambers — is scheduled.
