TA Ventures has exited the American manufacturer of innovative diapers, Coterie

Victoria Tigipko's TA Ventures, which invested up to $1 million in Coterie, returned ten times more than the invested amount

Victoria Tigipko's TA Ventures made the largest exit in its history from the four-year-old baby diaper manufacturer Coterie. In several rounds, TA Ventures invested up to $1 million in Coterie and returned ten times more than it invested.

According to Oleg Malenkov, a partner of the fund, the deal took place in August 2024. TA Ventures sold its shares to financial investor Coterie. The fund does not disclose buyers. Among them were current startup investors and a new player from San Francisco, Malenkov clarifies.

These are the 80 exits of TA Ventures over the 15 years of the fund's existence.

Oleg Malenkov noted that both in terms of size and multiplier, this investment is among the top 5 best.

Coterie is an American manufacturer of The Diaper and wet wipes, founded in 2018 with a $34.1 million investment.

Coterie products are not made from petroleum products and do not harm the environment.

TA Ventures first invested in Coterie together in late 2020. The Tigipka Foundation together with the angel club ICLUB took part in the "seed" round for $2.75 million.
