TAS group chairman is about to aquire Universal Bank

Famous Ukrainian businessman Mr. Sergey Tigipko has been in search for a bank from the top 30 in terms of assets. The market players informed that he is about start a process of acquisition of Universal Bank after examining about 7 banks of the kind. Before, Mr. Tigipko did inform that he was about to acquire and ready to sign a contract in buying out some of the banks. To note, the Greek subisidiary of Eurobank in Ukraine, that is Universal bank increased losses by 4.6 times in y/y terms amounting to UAH 2bn (USD 7.5mln) in 2015.
