The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has announced a starting price of UAH 301.41 million for the upcoming privatization auction of PJSC "Vinnytsiapobuthim", a Vinnytsia-based manufacturer of baby care products and household chemicals under the brands Vukhastyk, Sarma, Lotos-M, Max, Pride, and Polar Shine.
As part of the privatization terms, the future buyer will be required to maintain the company’s core business operations and settle its outstanding debts.
The final terms must be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, after which the auction date will be confirmed.
The company was previously owned by Russian firm Nevskaya Kosmetika (controlled by Vladimir Plesovsky) and was nationalized under Ukraine’s sanctions framework. Following the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the plant was first seized and later transferred to Kraytex-Service, part of the Afina Group, associated with Ruslan Shostak and Valerii Kiptik.
Under new management, the company’s leading brand was rebranded and localized — transitioning from “Vukhatyi Nyanka” to “Vukhastyk” to reflect its Ukrainian identity.
