Turkey decides to provide USD 50mln loan for Ukraine

Turkish government approves USD 50mln loan upon the bilateral agreement between the countries

The agreement on the USD 50mln facility was signed between former PMs Arseniy Yatseniuk and Ahmet Davutoglu, and only now got the relevant approval, informs official media of the Turkish government Resmi Gazete. The loan will be provided for 5 years under 2.5% annual interest rate. It reads that the facility is given during crisis times in Ukraine. To remind, the corresponding agreement between governments of Ukraine and Turkey was signed back in 15 February 2016. To note, the facilities from the EBRD, the EIB, and governments of Poland, Switzerland and Turkey will be channeled for many ready-made projects in Ukraine.
