The government of Ukraine passed a resolution upon attracting EUR 120mln loan from the European Investment Bank on implementation of the project called Higher Education. Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Growth. Prior to this, Ukraine carried many negotiations and met many representatives of the bank and also complied and negotiated the deal strike with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, commented Roman Greba vice minister of education of Ukraine. As a result, the higher institutions will receive more than UAH 3bn under low interest rates. The universities will conduct energy audits, and apply energy efficiency solutions to make state universities more comfortable.
