Ukraine’s video games market reaches USD 142mln in 2016

The volumes of domestic video games market amounted to USD 142mln, according to Dmitriy Bazelevych a country manager at Wargaming. The video games developer  company estimates the number of gamers at 14mln in Ukraine. As of present, the world gaming market is a leading segment of a leisure industry at large. The volumes of the world market stood at USD 100bln in 2016. Wargaming is a developer of a popular game of World of Tanks with a number of 9mln registered players from Ukraine. Wargaming informed that 90% of the registered players play from home, while 70% tend to discuss the game with other players. A typical player of World of Tanks is a man of 24-60 years of age with a higher education.
