This is a second deal with a retail real estate in Europe for the fund. Previously, Focus Estate Fund bought the shopping center Galeria Sandomierz in Poland in the beginning of summer this year.
The fund bought the company Centro Ostrava from Emerging Europe Properties Fund & Discovery Group. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
The Ukrainian fund is familiar with Emerging Europe Properties Fund&Discovery Group for a long time. The investments in Centro Ostrava are considered beneficial as the ROA stands at 10% in euros. The tenants are world class retailers, and there are prospects for further development there, says Anriy Kozin, the managing partner of Focus Estate Fund.
Centro Ostrava is located in the third largest city of Chezh Republic. Among tenants, there are Mountfield, Rossman, Jysk, Okey Electro, Kasa, Breno, Super Zoo, and other.
