Ukrainian Marketplace Pleso Therapy Raises $1.2M from Oleksandr Usyk and Other Investors

Mental health startup Pleso Therapy, which developed a marketplace for finding psychotherapists online, secures $1.2 million from Vchasno Group, TA Ventures, and boxer Oleksandr Usyk

Ukrainian startup Pleso Therapy, which operates a digital marketplace for online psychotherapist search, has raised $1.2 million in funding aimed at expanding its presence in the European market.

Key investors in the round include Vchasno Group — a product IT company group founded by Mykola Palienko, venture capital firm TA Ventures led by Viktoriya Tigipko, and angel investor and world boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Pleso Therapy currently operates in Poland, Romania, and Ukraine, with plans to launch in additional European countries in the near future.

According to a press release, over 80% of the company’s sales come from clients in EU countries.

The platform has facilitated more than 150,000 therapy sessions for over 20,000 users, the company reports.

Founded in 2021 by Oleksandr Bondarev, Anna Lisova, Oleksii Yakubenko, and Vitalii Marchenko, Pleso Therapy is a mental health marketplace that helps users find and work with therapists. The platform leverages AI-based matching to connect users with suitable mental health professionals.
