QLYX successfully pitched its smart mount for USD 125 000 during June 27 and August 26 at crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. The project got support from 2892 backers who will be able to get those gadgets in October already. The QLYX team plans to continue crowdfunding for the project at Indiegogo (the USA) and Machi-ya (Japan).
The gadget mount has a chip that interacts with a smartphone via Bluetooth Low Energy. The chip collects driving data, jots down a parking place, and charts routes relating to time and traffic.
The Ukrainian team based in Kyiv registered IDA USA LLC in the USA to enter Western markets. The raised funds will be channeled into finishing the gadget properties and providing mount frames in different colors and premium materials like aluminum, leather, wood, or gold.
