Ukrainian Syndicate Toloka Invests $1M in Israeli Cybersecurity Startup Bright Security

Venture syndicate Toloka.vc has invested $1 million in Bright Security, an Israeli startup developing an AI platform for detecting and eliminating software vulnerabilities

Israeli startup Bright Security has developed STAR, an AI-powered platform that automatically detects, fixes, and protects against vulnerabilities in enterprise applications.

Ukrainian venture syndicate Toloka.vc joined the extended Series A round. The total round size amounted to $25 million.

The investment was made via a SAFE agreement with a valuation cap for the next funding round.

Bright Security operates in the fast-growing segment of Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), projected to expand from $1.8 billion in 2023 to $6 billion by 2028.

The company already serves over 70 enterprise clients, with 80% of its revenue coming from North America. Distribution is handled through a network of partners.
